Mazu, Johan Stjernholm

Johan Stjernholm utvecklar danskonstverket Mazu – vattenlegender, som kretsar kring miljöförstöring och vår förmåga/oförmåga att skapa mening i nuet. Johan tillsammans med dansarna Christine Brorsson och Stina Nilsson hade två veckors residens på Kungsbacka Teater som resulterade i en work-in-progress-visning under 2024.

Johans egna ord om verket: ”Mazu is a pioneering work that merges dance, theatre, and the visual arts with some of the latest developments in Computer Science, and a responsible use of Generative Artificial Intelligence. Featuring a newly developed, state-of-the-art technological platform, Mazu represents a new mode of theatre, where the audience participates and collaborates with Artificial Intelligence in the creation of the piece. Mazu provides a practical example of how technology and Generative AI can be used to deepen and strengthen human creativity.”
